BioI am going into the last year of Chemistry degree at Edinburgh Uni. I love music, especially tom waits, but also lots of other stuff; unusual rock, metal, jazz and classical. I read alot, and generally go for sci-fi, classic literature, crime fiction, horror, fantasy or Japanese literature, but enjoy a good read most of all. I speak Japanese, and like much of the culture surrounding Japan - the art, literature, films, food and anime. I generally like food and cooking, and am always experimenting with new dishes. I also do home brewing, which is a lot of fun - chilli ginger beer is my speciality, as well as an elderflower champagne and elderberry wine. Cinema is another big interest, although I don`t get enough time to see films. I travel whenever I can (particularly by train), and enjoy picking up languages. I am very fond of cats too, as you might have guessed.
